This listed barn in Hertfordshire was being prepared to be listed on the market for sale. The owner appointed us to create a unique and luxurious space that potential buyers would aspire to. With an abundance of character features such as double height ceilings and original beams there was a great deal to love before the interior design even started. We created an elegant living and dining area using luxurious fabrics and bespoke pieces. A magnificent feature pendant was used in the living area to emphasise the high ceilings and add a little drama.

Listed properties can be challenge as they are subject to many requirements and restrictions. This doesn’t have to hinder the design process if the requirements are understood and creativity flows. We love working on unique and period properties as the very structure and age of the building provides so much inspiration and plenty of design cues.
